Dr. Aaron M. Witz is a board-certified pediatrician. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Witz has previously worked as a pediatrician in the emergency room at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He also spent 10 years as a pediatric hospitalist at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, taking care of babies and children in the emergency room, intensive care unit, and pediatric inpatient ward. Special projects included improving pediatric pain assessment and management.
In 2005, Dr. Witz designed, developed, and implemented a clinic exclusively for outpatient circumcision of newborn male infants at Swedish Medical Center. The practice was founded upon the principles of safety, comfort, and an aesthetically pleasing outcome. Over 240 clinics statewide refer infants and their families to Dr. Witz. There is widespread support for his services from local pediatricians, family practitioners, obstetricians, midwives, doulas, pediatric urologists and surgeons, hospitals, and birthing centers.
